Bard

Link to Bard

If you run a podcast guide, a newsletter, or a show's own website, you can link any show straight to its page in Bard, the same way you'd link to Apple Podcasts. You don't need an account or an API key. All you need is the show's RSS feed or its Apple Podcasts ID.

Two ways to link

By RSS feed

Put the show's feed URL after feed=, URL-encoded.

https://app.playbard.fm/show?feed=feed URL

For example, The Amelia Project by its feed:

https://app.playbard.fm/show?feed=https%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.megaphone.fm%2Famelia

By Apple Podcasts ID

Use the number at the end of the show's Apple Podcasts link, with or without the id in front of it.

https://app.playbard.fm/show?apple=Apple ID

For example, The Amelia Project by its Apple ID:

https://app.playbard.fm/show?apple=1314667752

If you have both, use the feed. It's the show's own address, so it keeps working if the show leaves Apple. Bard matches a feed however it's spelled: http or https, with or without www, and with or without a trailing slash.

Using it on your site?

"Listen on Bard" is a fine label for the link. If you add Bard links to a lot of shows, or something doesn't work the way this page says, let Michael know.
